After a break-in I was on the search for a locksmith. Where else do you go but Yelp!! I was amazed by the overwhelming 5-star reviews that A Star had acquired and now I know why. Rafael's professionalism, courtesy, and craftsmanship were above and beyond what I had ever experienced before in a locksmith, so good in fact I hired him to do two other projects for me!! A Star has my loyalty and if you give them a try, I guarantee you will feel the same.
These guys are amazing. I work in the parking business and have used them repeatedly due to their professionalism, time of response, and ability to cut keys to cars that no one else can. They carry an array of keys that most other locksmiths don't carry. I would highly recommend them. Ben is specifically great to work with.

I called Best Locksmith to have 3 locks rekeyed. The service, expertise, customer service, promptness and work were so excellent that I also had another 10 locks done! The deadbolt on our front door broke. I called A Star Locksmith and they called me back immediately to schedule. Rafael was terrific. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. I was at a complete loss, because I had lost my car key and could not find it ANYWHERE!! Luckily for me after I called Best Locksmith (they responded super-promptly and sent out a service member within an hour!!) I was able to get prompt and friendly service on my car! Ben was very kind and helpful in explaining everything upfront to me and was super nice even after I found my "lost" car key on my front lawn!!!

I called BL after running through some BS with PopALock. Best Locksmith took my information, said it would be about 15-20 minutes to open my apartment. Evidently the door knob busted and the latch wouldn't release rendering my key useless. The tech called me 5 minutes from my initial contact with the company and said he would be there in 15 minutes. Which he was!

Raphael was my hero! Kinda pricey but worth it to have my closet opened by a smiling charming person who came over in like 5 min! Opened my locked closet door...yes it had an actual grade-A keyhole that my apt complex failed to give me the proper key for or tell me about. Good location from my apt in the Addison/Dallas/Carrollton area. Oh, and accepts plastic!!!
Called earlier this week and spoke with Oscar about changing locks on the house we recently purchased. He was very nice and gave me a fixed rate price to do the work. Ben, the locksmith, called 30 minutes before the appointment time today to confirm and he arrived early. He assessed the situation and gave us a better price to do the work than originally quoted. He completed the work quickly and efficiently. He also gave us some good advice about adding security locks in the future. I will definitely be using this locksmith again!
I had the locks re-keyed on a new house. 4 locks x $28 plus a $25 fee for the service call came to $137 total. It was more expensive than I had expected but it was fast and hassle free.

Excellent response time and work by Rafael. Would definitely use him again. Gave me a rough estimate over the phone after hearing what I wanted done. He arrived on time, and the doors fit perfect after his work was completed. I provided my own locks which provided a challenge but he was able to work through it. He was affordable compared to other estimates I received and very courteous. Happy to recommend him to others.
